St Cyril’s Lecturers presented at the ‘Christology at the Beginning of the Third Millennium’ conference at Notre Dame University Australia.
On the 6th and 7th of February 2026, University of Notre Dame Australia hosted an academic conference on the subject of Christology in the third millenium. Approximately 30 academics from various Christian traditions presented on a wide range of issues associated with the conference’s theme, providing much food for thought.

Two papers were delivered by St Cyril’s academics. Dr Samuel Kaldas presented a fascinating paper on the impacts of online polemics on contemporary ecumenical dialogue and understanding. The second paper by Michael Ibrahim was on Severus of Antioch’s systemisation of Cyrillian Christology, and its significance for interdenominational understanding.
